Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents Gaṅgā as a results-bestowing tīrtha where dharmic rites—especially tarpana to Pitṛs and offerings to Devas—support both worldly well-being (a “fruitful life”) and lineage continuity.
By directing the seeker to approach Gaṅgā and honor Devas and Pitṛs, it frames devotion as reverent action (sevā through ritual) performed at a sacred place, aligning personal desires with dharma and divine order.
It highlights kalpa/ritual practice: the rite of tarpana (water-libations) for Pitṛs and prescribed offerings to Devas performed at an appropriate tīrtha (Gaṅgā).
