विराटपर्वकी सम्पूर्ण "्लोक-संख्या--२६९१ #2.# #22.7 (9) #च्दिम अलड श्रवण-महिमा श्र॒त्वा तु चरितं पुण्यं पाण्डवानां महात्मनाम्‌ | नाधिव्याधिभयं तेषां जायते पुण्यकर्मणाम्‌,पुण्यकर्मा महात्मा पाण्डवोंका पवित्र चरित्र सुनकर श्रोताओंको आधि (मानसिक दुःख) और व्याधि (शारीरिक कष्ट)-का भय नहीं होता है

śrutvā tu caritaṃ puṇyaṃ pāṇḍavānāṃ mahātmanām | nādhivyādhibhayaṃ teṣāṃ jāyate puṇyakarmaṇām ||

قال فَيْشَمْبَايَنَة: من سمع السيرة المقدّسة المطهِّرة لِلبانْدَفَة ذوي النفوس العظيمة، لا يعتريه خوفٌ من الآدهي (كرب النفس) ولا من الفْيَادهي (داء الجسد)؛ إذ إن أعمال أولئك الرجال الأبرار في ذاتها ذاتُ أجرٍ وبركة، وسماعها ميمون.
