Adhyāya 6: Kaṅka (Yudhiṣṭhira) Seeks Refuge in Virāṭa’s Assembly
जया त्वं विजया चैव संग्रामे च जयप्रदा । ममापि विजयं देहि वरदा त्वं च साम्प्रतम्,“तुम जया और विजया हो। तुम्हीं संग्राममें विजय देनेवाली हो, अतः मुझे भी विजय दो। इस समय तुम मेरे लिये वरदायिनी हो जाओ
jayā tvaṁ vijayā caiva saṅgrāme ca jayapradā | mamāpi vijayaṁ dehi varadā tvaṁ ca sāmpratam ||
أنتِ جَيا وأنتِ فيجَيا—وفي ساحة القتال أنتِ واهبةُ الظفر. فامنحيني الظفر أنا أيضًا؛ وكوني في هذه اللحظة بعينها مُعطيةَ النِّعَم من أجلي.
