Chapter 55
न रथानां न चाश्वानां न गजानां न वर्मणाम् | अनिदविद्ध शितैर्बाणैरासीदद्भयड्गुलमन्तरम्,वहाँ रथों, घोड़ों, हाथियों तथा उनके सवारोंके अंगों और कवचोंमें दो अंगुल भी ऐसा स्थान नहीं बचा था, जो अर्जुनके तीखे बाणोंसे बिंध न गया हो
na rathānāṁ na cāśvānāṁ na gajānāṁ na varmaṇām | anidaviddhaṁ śitair bāṇair āsīd adbhayaṅgulam antaram ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: بين العربات والخيول والفيلة، بل وحتى في أجساد الفرسان ودروعهم، لم يبقَ موضعٌ بعرض إصبعين إلا وقد نفذته سهام أرجونا الحادّة كالموسى. ويُبرز هذا المشهد سطوةَ محاربٍ يَكبح الفوضى بمهارةٍ حاسمة، ويقلب مجرى القتال بلا تردّد حين تكون حماية الأبرياء وصون النظام الحقّ على المحكّ.
