शमीवृक्षस्थायुधप्रकाशनम् / Revelation and Identification of the Weapons on the Śamī Tree
(मत्ता इव महानागा युक्तध्वजपताकिन: । नीतिमन्तो महेष्वासा सर्वास्त्रिकृतनि श्चया: ।।
uttara uvāca |
matta iva mahānāgā yuktadhvajapatākinaḥ |
nītimanto maheṣvāsā sarvāstrikṛtaniścayāḥ ||
durjayāḥ sarvasainyānāṃ devair api savāsavaiḥ |
patākinaś ca mātaṅgāḥ sadhvajāś ca mahārathāḥ ||
viprakīrṇāḥ kṛtodyogā vājināś citrabhūṣitāḥ |
tān jetuṃ samare śūrān durbuddhir aham āgataḥ ||
dṛṣṭvaiva hi kurūn etān vyūḍhānīkān prahāriṇaḥ |
hṛṣitāni ca romāṇi kaśmalaṃ cāgataṃ mama ||
قال أُتَّرا: «إن أبطالَ الكاورافا هؤلاء يبدون كفيلةٍ عظيمةٍ أصابها سُكرُ النشوة فهَاجت. كلُّهم يحملون الراياتِ والألوية؛ وهم حُذّاقٌ في سياسة المُلك، رماةُ قِسيٍّ عظام، راسخون في معرفة كلِّ سلاحٍ واستعماله. إن قهرَهم بالغُ العُسر—لا على الجيوشِ كلِّها فحسب، بل حتى على الآلهةِ بقيادة إندرا. وفِيَلتُهم أيضًا ترفرف فوقها الرايات؛ ومركباتُهم العظيمة تتلألأ بالألوية؛ وخيولُهم، مزدانةٌ بحُلًى شتّى، تنتشر من كل جانب كأنها تتلهّف للنصر. ومع ذلك أنا—صبيٌّ أحمق—قد جئتُ إلى هنا لأغلبَ مثلَ هؤلاء الشجعان في الحرب! حقًّا، إن مجردَ رؤيتي لهؤلاء الكورو مصطفّين في تشكيلٍ قتالي، مستعدين للضرب، يُقيم شعري، ويغشاني شبهُ إغماء—اضطرابٌ ورهبةٌ—قد حلّت بي.»
