Draupadī–Bhīmasena Dialogue on Suffering, Kāla, and Daiva
यदा महानसे सिद्धे विराटमुपतिष्ठसि । ब्रुवाणो बल्लव: सूदस्तदा सीदति मे मन:
yadā mahānase siddhe virāṭam upatiṣṭhasi | bruvāṇo ballavaḥ sūdās tadā sīdati me manaḥ ||
قال فايشامبايانا: حين يكتمل الطهي في مطبخ القصر، وتمضي لتقف في خدمة الملك فيرَاطا معلنًا: «أيها الملك، لقد جاء بَلَّافا الطاهي ليدعوك إلى الطعام»، فإني ما إن أسمع ذلك حتى يهبط قلبي في غمرة من الأسى. إن هذا المشهد يبرز وطأة التخفي والخدمة: فذوو الشرف تُكرههم الظروف على اتخاذ أدوار وضيعة، ويشعر الشاهد بثقل ذلك الانقلاب في المقام.
