साड्रोपनिषदान् वेदाञ्जपन्निव महातपा: । तस्य पुत्रो5$भवदृषे: स तेजस्वी महाद्विज:,महर्षिका वह महातपस्वी और तेजस्वी पुत्र जन्म-कालसे ही अंग और उपनिषदोंसहित सम्पूर्ण वेदोंका स्वाध्याय-सा करता जान पड़ा। दृढस्यु ब्राह्मणोंमें महान् माने गये
sāṅgopaniṣadān vedān japann iva mahātapāḥ | tasya putro 'bhavad ṛṣeḥ sa tejasvī mahādvijaḥ |
قال لوماشا: وُلد ابنُ ذلك الزاهد العظيم براهمنياً جليلاً مشرقاً. ومنذ لحظة مولده بدا كأنه لا ينفكّ يتلو الفيدات مع ملحقاتها والأوبانيشاد—صورةً لانضباطٍ روحيّ فطريّ وعلمٍ مقدّس موروث.
लोगश उवाच
The verse highlights the ideal of innate orientation toward dharma: spiritual brilliance (tejas) and disciplined learning are portrayed as natural expressions of tapas and righteous lineage, suggesting that true excellence is marked by devotion to sacred knowledge and self-restraint.
Lomaśa describes the birth and extraordinary nature of a seer’s son, emphasizing that the child seemed, from birth, to be engaged in Vedic recitation with the Upaniṣads and auxiliaries—establishing the character’s sanctity and authority for the story that follows.
