सा तु सत्यवती कन्या रूपेणाप्सरसो<प्यति | तोषयामास पितरं शीलेन स्वजनं तथा,वह सत्यवती राजकुमारी रूपमें अप्सराओंसे भी बढ़कर थी। उसने अपने शील- स्वभावसे पिता तथा स्वजनोंको संतुष्ट कर दिया था
sā tu satyavatī kanyā rūpeṇāpsaraso 'py ati | toṣayāmāsa pitaraṁ śīlena svajanaṁ tathā ||
كانت الفتاة ساتيافاتي تفوق الأبسارات جمالًا. غير أنّها إنما ملكت القلوب حقًّا بفضيلتها ولين طبعها، فأرضت أباها وأشبعت رضا أهلها وذويها.
लोगश उवाच
The verse highlights that true excellence is not merely physical beauty but śīla—ethical conduct and good character—which sustains harmony in the family and earns genuine respect.
The speaker describes Satyavatī: she is extraordinarily beautiful—beyond even celestial nymphs—yet she is also portrayed as exemplary in conduct, pleasing her father and her relatives through her virtuous nature.
