त्रियुगौ पुण्डरीकाक्षौ वासुदेवधनंजयौ । नारदो5पि तथा वेद यो5प्यशंसत् सदा मम,“कमलके समान नेत्रोंवाले भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुन तीन युगोंसे सदा साथ रहते आये हैं। नारदजी भी इन दोनोंको इसी रूपमें जानते हैं; और सदा मुझसे इस बातकी चर्चा करते रहते हैं
Vaiśampāyana uvāca |
triyugau puṇḍarīkākṣau vāsudeva-dhanañjayau |
nārado 'pi tathā veda yo 'py aśaṃsat sadā mama ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: «إن فاسوديفا (كريشنا) ذا العينين كاللوتس، ودهننْجَيا (أرجونا) قد لازما بعضهما عبر ثلاثة عصور. ونارادا أيضًا يعرفهما على هذا النحو، وقد حدّثني مرارًا مادحًا هذه الحقيقة.»
