युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya

अधिगम्य महादेवं वरदं विष्णुमव्ययम्‌,वहाँ वर देनेवाले महान्‌ देवता अविनाशी भगवान्‌ विष्णुके निकट जाकर उनका दर्शन और पूजन करे

adhigamya mahādevaṁ varadaṁ viṣṇum avyayam, tatra varadān mahān devatā avināśī bhagavān viṣṇoḥ nikaṭaṁ gatvā tasya darśanaṁ pūjanaṁ ca kuryāt

فإذا دنا المرء من الإله العظيم—فيشنو، الباقي الذي لا يفنى، وواهب النِّعَم—فليدخل حضرته، وليتشرّف برؤيته، وليقم بعبادته. ويؤكد هذا الإرشاد أنّ العون الحقّ والبركات المستقيمة تُلتمس بالتعبّد الخاشع للذات الإلهية، لا بالقوة ولا بادّعاء الاستحقاق.
