त्वत्कृते बन्धुवर्गाश्न॒ गतसत्त्वा इवासते । अन्वेष्टारो ब्राह्मणाश्व भ्रमन्ति शतशो महीम्,“तुम्हारे बन्धु-बान्धव तुम्हारी ही चिन्तासे मृतक-तुल्य हो रहे हैं। (तुम्हारी खोज करनेके लिये) सैकड़ों ब्राह्मण इस पृथ्वीपर घूम रहे हैं
tvatkṛte bandhuvargāś ca gatasattvā ivāsate | anveṣṭāro brāhmaṇāś ca bhramanti śataśo mahīm ||
بسببكِ يجلسُ ذوو قرباكِ كأنما فارقتهم الحياة، أنهكهم القلقُ والحزن. وللبحث عنكِ يهيمُ مئاتُ البرهميين في أرجاء الأرض ساعين وراء أثركِ.
