Sudeva Identifies Damayantī in Cedi (सुदेवेन दमयन्ती-परिचयः)

देशात्‌ तस्माद्‌ विनिष्क्रम्प शोचन्ते वैशसं कृतम्‌ भ्रातरं पितरं पुत्रं सखायं च नराधिप,तदनन्तर दूसरा दिन प्रारम्भ होनेपर मरनेसे बचे हुए लोग उस स्थानसे निकलकर उस विकट संहारके लिये शोक करने लगे। राजन्‌! कोई भाईके लिये दुःखी था, कोई पिताके लिये; किसीको पुत्रका शोक था और किसीको मित्रका

bṛhadaśva uvāca | deśāt tasmād viniṣkramya śocante vaiśasaṁ kṛtam | bhrātaraṁ pitaraṁ putraṁ sakhāyaṁ ca narādhipa ||

قال بْرِهادَشْفَا: «فلما خرجوا من ذلك الموضع، ناح الناجون على المذبحة المروّعة التي ارتُكبت. أيها الملك، فمنهم من حزن على أخٍ، ومنهم من حزن على أبٍ؛ ومنهم من بكى ابناً، وآخرون بكوا صديقاً.»
