नलस्य बाहुकत्वेन ऋतुपर्णनगरप्रवेशः
Nala as Bāhuka enters Ṛtuparṇa’s city
पूजां चास्या यथान्यायं कृत्वा तत्र तपोधना: । आस्यतामित्यथोचुस्ते ब्रूहि कि करवामहे,तदनन्तर वहाँ दमयन्तीका यथोचित आदर-सत्कार करके उन तपोधनोंने कहा--'शुभे! बैठो, बताओ, हम तुम्हारा कौन-सा कार्य सिद्ध करें"
pūjāṃ cāsyā yathānyāyaṃ kṛtvā tatra tapodhanāḥ | āsyatām ity athocus te brūhi kiṃ karavāmahe ||
وبعد أن أدّوا لها ما يليق من الإكرام على سنن العرف القويم، قال لها أولئك الزهّاد الأغنياء بالتقشّف: «أيتها السيدة المباركة، اجلسي. أخبرينا—ماذا نصنع لنُتمّ لكِ مرادك؟»
