नलस्य बाहुकत्वेन ऋतुपर्णनगरप्रवेशः
Nala as Bāhuka enters Ṛtuparṇa’s city
एवं साशोकवृक्ष॑ तमार्ता वै परिगम्य ह । जगाम दारुणतरं देशं भैमी वराड़ना,इस प्रकार शोकार्त हुई सुन्दरी दमयन्ती उस अशोकवृक्षकी परिक्रमा करके वहाँसे अत्यन्त भयंकर स्थानकी ओर गयी
evaṃ sā śokavṛkṣaṃ tam ārtā vai parigamya ha | jagāma dāruṇataraṃ deśaṃ bhaimī varāṅganā ||
وهكذا فإنَّ السيدة النبيلة بهِيمي (دَمَيَنْتِي)، وقد غمرها الحزن، طافت حول شجرة الأَشوكا، ثم مضت قُدُمًا نحو أرضٍ أشدَّ هولًا.
