Bhīmasena’s Discourse on Kāla, Resolve, and the Feasibility of Ajñātavāsa (भीमसेनस्य कालोपदेशः)
yat te bhayam amitraghna hṛdi samparivartate | tat te 'haṃ nāśayiṣyāmi vidhidṛṣṭena karmaṇā ||
Fear that repeatedly agitates the mind should be met with dharmically sanctioned action and guidance; the verse emphasizes that right means (vidhi) can restore inner steadiness and moral confidence, not merely raw power.
Vyāsa addresses the hero who is troubled by fear of formidable opponents and promises to remove that fear through a properly prescribed course of action—implying counsel, ritual, or divinely aligned strategy rather than impulsive reaction.
