तौ चैवानय भद्र ते पानीयं च त्वमानय । त्वं हि नस्तात सर्वेषां द:खितानामपाश्रय:,“तुम्हारा कल्याण हो। तुम उन दोनोंको बुला लाओ और साथ ही पानी भी ले आओ। तात! तुम्हीं हम सब दुःखी बन्धुओंके सहारे हो”
tau caivānaya bhadra te pānīyaṃ ca tvam ānaya | tvaṃ hi nas tāta sarveṣāṃ duḥkhitānām apāśrayaḥ ||
قال الياكشا: «ليحلّ بك الخير. اذهب فأتِ بهذين إلى هنا، وائتِ بالماء أيضًا. يا بُنيّ، أنت الملجأ الوحيد لنا جميعًا، نحن الأقرباء المكلومين.»
यक्ष उवाच
The verse highlights ethical responsibility: one who has capacity and steadiness should become a refuge for suffering relatives and dependents, acting with compassion and prompt service (bringing help and necessities like water).
In the Yakṣa episode of the Vana Parva, the Yakṣa addresses a person being tested, instructing him to bring two others and to fetch drinking water, while emphasizing that he is the only support for the distressed members of their group.
