स सूतो भार्यया सार्थ विम्मयोत्फुल्ललोचन: । अड्कमारोप्य तं बालं भारया वचनमब्रवीत्,उसे देखकर पत्नीसहित सूतके नेत्रकमल आश्चर्य एवं प्रसन्नतासे खिल उठे। उसने बालकको गोदमें लेकर अपनी पत्नीसे कहा--
sa sūto bhāryayā sārthaṁ vismayotphullalocanaḥ | aṅkam āropya taṁ bālaṁ bhāryāyā vacanam abravīt ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: إن السائق، ومعه زوجته، لما رأى الطفل انفتحت عيناه الشبيهة باللوتس اتساعًا من دهشةٍ وفرح. رفع الغلام إلى حجره ثم خاطب زوجته—كلمات صاغها العجب وإحساسٌ آخذٌ في التكوّن بالمسؤولية نحو هذا الضعيف الذي لا ناصر له.
