एतावदेव पर्याप्तमुपमानं शुचिस्मिते । कर्मणां फलमाप्रोति धीरोडल्पेनापि तुष्यति,पवित्र मुसकानवाली द्रौपदी! इतना ही दृष्टान्त देना पर्याप्त है। धीर पुरुष कर्मोका फल पाता है और थोड़े-से फलसे भी संतुष्ट हो जाता है
etāvad eva paryāptam upamānaṃ śucismite | karmaṇāṃ phalam āpnoti dhīro 'lpene 'pi tuṣyati ||
قال يودهيشثيرا: «يا دروبدي ذات الابتسامة الطاهرة، يكفي هذا القدر من المثل. فالرجل الثابت ينال ثمرة أعماله، وحتى بالقليل يرضى ويقنع.»
