तौ लब्धसंज्ञौ नृवरौ विशल्यावुदतिष्ठताम् । गततन्द्रीक्लमौ चापि क्षणेनैती महारथौ,होशमें आ जानेपर वे दोनों नरश्रेष्ठ महारथी वीर बाणोंसे रहित हो आलस्य और थकावट त्यागकर क्षणभरमें उठ खड़े हुए
tau labdhasaṃjñau nṛvarau viśalyāv udatīṣṭhatām | gatatandrīklamau cāpi kṣaṇenaitī mahārathau ||
قال ماركانديّا: فلما استعادا وعيهما، نهض ذانك الرجلان من خيار الناس—وقد زالت السهام التي كانت تخترقهما—في الحال. وطرَحا النعاس والإعياء، فقام المقاتلان العظيمان في لحظة.
