यस्मात्‌ तु लोके दृश्यन्ते क्षमिण: पृथिवीसमा: । तस्माज्जन्म च भूतानां भवश्च प्रतिपद्यते,इस जगतमें पृथ्वीके समान क्षमाशील पुरुष भी देखे जाते हैं, इसीलिये प्राणियोंकी उत्पत्ति और वृद्धि होती रहती है

yasmāt tu loke dṛśyante kṣamiṇaḥ pṛthivīsamāḥ | tasmāj janma ca bhūtānāṃ bhavaś ca pratipadyate ||

لأن في هذا العالم يُرى رجالٌ حُلماء غفورون، يشبهون الأرض في احتمالها؛ لذلك يمضي ميلاد الكائنات الحيّة واستمرار نموّها وصيرورتها بلا انقطاع. فالعفو، الثابت الحامل كالأرض، يُعرض شرطًا لبقاء الحياة ودوام المجتمع.
