तेजस्विनं त॑ विद्वांसो मन्यन्ते तत्त्वदर्शिन: । जो उत्पन्न हुए क्रोधको अपनी बुद्धिसे दबा देता है, उसे तत्त्वदर्शी विद्वान्‌ तेजस्वी मानते हैं

tejasvinaṃ taṃ vidvāṃso manyante tattvadarśinaḥ | yo utpannaṃ krodhaṃ svabuddhyā daba (damayati) sa tattvadarśī vidvān tejasvī manyate ||

قال يودهِشْثيرا: «إن الذين يُبصرون الحقيقة حقًّا يعدّون ذلك الرجل بهيًّا كريمًا—هو الذي إذا نهض الغضب كبحه بعقله الصافي. فمثل هذا التملّك للنفس يُمدَح على أنه سِمة العارف بالحق.»
