रामस्तु पुनराशड्क्य पौरजानपदागमम्‌ | प्रविवेश महारण्यं शरभड्डश्रमं प्रति,श्रीरामचन्द्रजीने वहाँ नगर और जनपदके लोगोंके बराबर आने-जानेकी आशंकासे शरभंग मुनिके आश्रमके पास विशाल वनमें प्रवेश किया

rāmas tu punar āśaṅkya paurajānapanadāgamam | praviveśa mahāraṇyaṃ śarabhāṅgāśramaṃ prati ||

عاد راما يخشى أن يتتبّع أهلُ المدن والقرى أثرَه ذهابًا وإيابًا، فدخل الغابةَ العظمى قاصدًا صومعةَ الحكيم شَرَبَهانغا (Śarabhāṅga).
