इन्द्रजिद्-लक्ष्मणयुद्धम्

Indrajit and Lakṣmaṇa: Escalation through Concealment

हतप्रवीरा रिपवो भूयिष्ठं विद्रुता दिश: । गृहीत्वा द्रौपदी राजन्‌ निवर्ततु भवानितः,“राजन! शत्रुओंके प्रमुख वीर मारे जा चुके हैं और बहुत-से सैनिक सब दिशाओंमें भाग गये हैं। अब आप द्रौपदीको साथ लेकर यहाँसे आश्रमको लौटिये

Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca | hatapravīrā ripavo bhūyiṣṭhaṃ vidrutā diśaḥ | gṛhītvā draupadīṃ rājan nivartatu bhavān itaḥ ||

قال فَيْشَمْبَايَنَة: «أيها الملك، لقد قُتِلَ أبطالُ العدوّ الأوائل، وفرّت أكثرُ جموعهم في كلّ اتجاه. فخُذْ دروبدي معك وارجع من هنا إلى الأشرم.»
