लाजैश्वन्दनचूर्णैश्व विकीर्य च जनास्तत: । ऊ्चुर्दिष्ट्या नृपाविध्न: समाप्तो<यं क्रतुस्तव,तत्पश्चात्‌ सब लोग लावा और चन्दनचूर्ण बिखेरकर कहने लगे--“महाराज! आपका यह यज्ञ बिना किसी विधघ्न-बाधाके पूर्ण हो गया, यह बड़े सौभाग्यकी बात है”

lājaiś candanacūrṇaiś ca vikīrya ca janās tataḥ | ūcur diṣṭyā nṛpāvidhnaḥ samāpto 'yaṃ kratus tava ||

ثم إنّ الناس نثروا الحَبَّ المُحمَّص ومسحوقَ الصندل، وهتفوا: «بحسن الطالع، أيها الملك، لقد اكتمل قربانك دون عائقٍ ولا مانع!» ويُبرز هذا المشهد فرحَ الجماعة بعد تمام الشعيرة على نظامٍ ويُمن، حيث تُنسب النجاة والنجاح لا إلى الجهد وحده، بل إلى قَدَرٍ مواتٍ وإلى صون آداب الطقس على وجهها الصحيح.
