Ritual Acclamation at Hastināpura and Karṇa’s Vow Concerning Arjuna (राजकीय स्तुति-प्रसङ्गः कर्णप्रतिज्ञा च)
एवं ब्रुवाणं कौन्तेयं भीमसेनमपस्वरम् । न काल: परुषस्यायमिति राजाभ्यभाषत,कुन्तीनन्दन भीमसेनको इस प्रकार विकृत स्वरमें बात करते देख राजा युधिष्ठिरने कहा --'भैया! यह कड़वी बातें कहनेका समय नहीं है”
evaṃ bruvāṇaṃ kaunteyaṃ bhīmasenam apasvaram | na kālaḥ paruṣasyāyam iti rājābhyabhāṣata ||
ولمّا رأى الملكُ يُدْهِشْتِيرَ ابنَ كُنتي، بِهِيمَسِينَا، يتكلّم بصوتٍ متهدّجٍ قاسٍ، خاطبه قائلاً: «يا أخي، ليس هذا أوانَ الكلماتِ المُرّةِ الجارحة.»
