धृतराष्ट्रस्य क्रतु-प्रवर्तनम् तथा पाण्डवानां निमन्त्रण-प्रतिवचनम्

अनाय>्जछिसतेत्येतांक्षित्रसेनो5त्यमर्षण: | यह सुनकर गन्धर्वराज चित्रसेनको बड़ा अमर्ष हुआ। उन्होंने कौरवोंको लक्ष्य करके समस्त गन्धर्वोको आज्ञा दी, “अरे! इन दुष्टोंका दमन करो”
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: anājñacchīṣate ity etāṃ citraseno ’tyamarṣaṇaḥ | etac chrutvā gandharvarājaḥ citrasenaḥ mahān amarṣaḥ samapadyata; sa kauravān uddiśya sarvān gandharvān ājñāpayām āsa—“are, etān duṣṭān damayata” iti |
قال فايشَمبايانا: فلما سمع قولهم: «إنه لا يطيع الأوامر»، استبدَّ بالملك الغندرفي تشيتراسينا—وهو الذي لا يحتمل الإهانة—غضبٌ عظيم. ثم وجَّه نظره إلى الكورافا وأمر جميع الغندرفا قائلاً: «اقمعوا هؤلاء الأشرار، وأخضعوهم!»
