Duryodhana’s Shame and Consideration of Prāyopaveśa
इति श्रीमहाभारते वनपर्वणि घोषयात्रापर्वणि कर्णशकुनिवाक्ये सप्तत्रिंशदधिकद्विशततमो<5ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate vanaparvaṇi ghoṣayātrāparvaṇi karṇaśakuni-vākye saptatriṃśad-adhika-dviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
هكذا ينتهي، في «شري مهابهاراتا»، ضمن «فانا بارفا»، في القسم المتعلق بحملة الماشية (Ghoṣa-yātrā)، الفصل المعنون «كلمات كَرْنَة وشَكوني»—وهو الفصل السابع والثلاثون بعد المئتين (237). وهذه الخاتمة تُثبت إغلاق وحدةٍ سرديةٍ إغلاقًا رسميًا، مُعلنةً أن الخطاب السابق وما فيه من توترٍ أخلاقي—نصحٍ واستفزازٍ وقصدٍ سياسي—قد بلغ منتهاه.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
