इति श्रीमहाभारते वनपर्वणि मार्कण्डेयसमास्यापर्वणि आड्िरसे कुमारोत्पत्तौ अष्टाविंशत्यधिकद्धिशततमो<ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate vanaparvaṇi mārkaṇḍeyasamāsyāparvaṇi āḍirase kumārotpattau aṣṭāviṃśatyadhikadviśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ
وهكذا، في «شري مهابهاراتا»، ضمن «فانا بارفا»، في القسم الذي يلخّص رواية ماركاندِيا، في الخبر المتعلّق بميلاد الكومارا (سكاندا)، تنتهي هنا الفصولُ المئتان والثامن والعشرون.
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
