Skanda–Mātṛgaṇa-janma: Kumārakāḥ, Kanyāgaṇāḥ, and the Vīrāṣṭaka (स्कन्द-मातृगण-सम्भवः)
अवश्यं क्रियमाणस्य कर्मणो दृश्यते फलम् । न हि निर्वेदमागम्य किंचित् प्राप्नोति शोभनम्,किये जानेवाले कर्मका फल अवश्य दृष्टिगोचर होता है। केवल खिन्न होकर बैठ रहनेसे कोई अच्छा परिणाम हाथ नहीं लगता
avaśyaṃ kriyamāṇasya karmaṇo dṛśyate phalam | na hi nirvedam āgamya kiñcit prāpnoti śobhanam ||
إن ثمرةَ العمل الذي يُباشَر حقًّا تُرى لا محالة. أمّا من غرق في الكآبة وترك السعي، فلن ينال شيئًا محمودًا.
