इति श्रीमहाभारते वनपर्वणि मार्कण्डेयसमास्यापर्वणि पतिव्रतोपाख्याने ब्राह्मणव्याधसंवादे अष्टाधिकद्विशततमो<्ध्याय:

Transliteration

iti śrīmahābhārate vanaparvaṇi mārkaṇḍeyasamāsyāparvaṇi pativratopākhyāne brāhmaṇavyādhasaṃvāde aṣṭādhikadvīśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

Translation

وهكذا، في «المهابهارتا» المباركة، ضمن «فانا بارفا»—في القسم المعروف بـ«ماركاندييا ساماسيا بارفا»—أثناء حكاية الزوجة العفيفة المخلصة (Pativratā-upākhyāna)، وفي الحوار بين البراهمن والصيّاد، ينتهي الفصل الثامن بعد المئتين. (هذا خاتمة فصلٍ للتأشير على انتهائه، لا بيتًا منطوقًا.)
