न्यायोपेता गुणोपेता: सर्वलोकहितैषिण:
nyāyopetā guṇopetāḥ sarvalokahitaiṣiṇaḥ
مُتَحَلِّين بالعدل والاستقامة، حائزين للخصال النبيلة، قاصدين خير الناس جميعاً—فأمثال هؤلاء هم المعيار الذي تُعرَف به السيرة القويمة.
व्याध उवाच
Dharma is characterized by justice (nyāya), cultivated virtues (guṇa), and an active commitment to the common good (sarva-loka-hita).
The Vyādha (hunter) is describing the marks of truly righteous people, emphasizing that ethical excellence is measured by fairness, virtue, and concern for the welfare of all.
