Adhyāya 208: Aṅgirasī-kanyāḥ
Enumeration of Aṅgiras’ daughters and attribute-names
इति संचित्य मनसा श्रद्दधानः स्त्रिया वच: । बलाकाप्रत्ययेनासौ धर्म्यैश्व वचनै: शुभै:
iti sañcitya manasā śraddadhānaḥ striyā vacaḥ | balākāpratyayenāsau dharmyair eva vacanaiḥ śubhaiḥ ||
وهكذا، بعد أن جمع فكره في قلبه ووثق بكلام المرأة، وقد اقتنع بمثال البلشون، وُجِّه إليه قولٌ مباركٌ قويمٌ موافقٌ للدارما.
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
One should reflect carefully and then place faith in sound counsel; when a convincing example removes doubt, righteous instruction (dharmya vacana) can be accepted and followed.
Mārkaṇḍeya describes a man who, after inward reflection, believes a woman’s statement; his confidence is strengthened by the illustrative case of a heron, and he is then guided by auspicious, dharma-aligned words.
