Educational Q&A

This line functions as a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: it teaches how the Mahābhārata is traditionally segmented and transmitted—by parva, sub-section, and episode—preserving textual continuity and authority.

The narrative pauses: the text announces the completion of the 202nd chapter in the Vana Parva, specifically the portion connected with Markandeya and the Dhundhumāra episode, marking the end of that chapter’s unit.
