प्रजास्यति महाराज तदा संक्षेप्स्यते युगम्‌ । अकालवर्षी पर्जन्यो भविष्यति गते युगे,महाराज! जब फूलमें फूल, फलमें फल लगने लगेगा, उस समय युगका संहार होगा। युगान्तकालमें मेघ असमयमें ही वर्षा करेंगे

Transliteration

prajāsyati mahārāja tadā saṅkṣepsyate yugam | akālavarṣī parjanyo bhaviṣyati gate yuge ||

Translation

قال ماركاندييا: «أيها الملك العظيم، إذا ظهرت تلك العلامات المخالفة للطبيعة انكمش الزمان نحو نهايته. وفي أفول اليوغا تمطر السحب الحاملة للمطر في غير أوانه».
