ततस्ते जलदा घोरा राविण: पुरुषर्षभ । सर्वतः प्लावयन्त्याशु चोदिता: परमेछ्िना,पुरुषरत्न! तदनन्तर विधातासे प्रेरित हो गर्जन-तर्जन करनेवाले वे भयंकर मेघ शीघ्र सब ओर वर्षा करके सबको जलसे आप्लावित कर देते हैं

Transliteration

tataste jaladā ghorā rāviṇaḥ puruṣarṣabha | sarvataḥ plāvayantyāśu coditāḥ parameśṭhinā ||

Translation

ثمّ، يا ثورَ الرجال، إنّ سُحُبَ المطرِ المروِّعةَ ذاتَ دويِّ الرعد—وقد حرّكها الخالقُ (ڤِدهاتا)—أسرعت فسكبت المطرَ من كلِّ جانبٍ وأغرقت كلَّ شيء.
