Kailāsa-darśana, Badarī-vāsa, and Sarasvatī–Dvaitavana Transition

sahitaḥ śrīmān sādhu sādhv ity athābravīt (pariṣvajya ca māṃ premṇā mūrdhni cāprāya sasmitaṃ) tato māṃ devarājo vai samāśvāsya punaḥ punaḥ

Educational Q&A

Excellence in battle is not celebrated as mere force but as dharmic achievement when undertaken for a righteous end and carried through with steadiness. The repeated reassurance from Indra underscores that even great heroes need moral and emotional support after extreme deeds, and that rightful action earns both praise and protective consolation.

Arjuna recounts how Indra, accompanied by other gods, becomes delighted at Arjuna’s accomplishment in battle. Indra praises him with “sādhu sādhu,” embraces him affectionately, smiles, and performs a tender gesture of approval by smelling his head, then repeatedly consoles and encourages him with sweet words.
