अजुन उवाच
The verse emphasizes responsible action guided by clarity: one should seek complete understanding of one’s duty (karma) from a trustworthy authority, especially when the matter has ethical or consequential implications.
Arjuna addresses Indra and Mātali, requesting a full and detailed account of the matter at hand, including what action or duty is expected of him, indicating a transition into instruction or mission-related guidance.
