Kubera-prasāda-vihāra and Counsel on Ajñātavāsa (कुबेरप्रसादविहारः तथा अज्ञातवासोपदेशः)
तत उक्तो भगवता दिष्टमत्रेति भारत भवितान्तस्त्वमप्येषां देहेनानयेन शत्रुहन्,भरतनन्दन! उनके ऐसा कहनेपर भगवान् ब्रह्माने कहा--“शत्रुदमन देवराज! इसमें दैवका यही विधान है कि तुम्हीं दूसरा शरीर धारण करके इन दानवोंका अन्त कर सकोगे”
tata ukto bhagavatā diṣṭam atreti bhārata bhavitāntas tvam apy eṣāṃ dehenānyena śatruhan bharatanandana
فلما قالوا ذلك، أجاب براهما المبارك: «يا قاهرَ الأعداء، يا سيّدَ الآلهة! في هذا الأمر هكذا حكمُ القدر: ستتقمّص أنت أيضًا جسدًا آخر، وبهذا السبيل تُنهي أمر هؤلاء الدانَڤا.»
