बहूनि च सहस्राणि प्रयतान्यर्बुदान्यपि । रथेनानेन दैत्यानां जितवान् मघवा युधि,“इनके सिवा अन्य बहुत-से दैत्योंको भी इस रथके द्वारा पराजित किया है, जिनकी संख्या सहस्रों, लाखों और अरबोंतक पुहँच गयी है
bahūni ca sahasrāṇi prayatāny arbudāny api | rathenānena daityānāṃ jitavān maghavā yudhi ||
قال أرجونا: «وبهذه العربة نفسها قهر مَغهافا (إندرا) في الحرب لا هؤلاء وحدهم، بل جموعًا كثيرة أخرى من الدايتيّات، حتى بلغ عددهم آلافًا ولاكهاتٍ بل وكروْراتٍ.»
अजुन उवाच
The verse highlights the idea that immense hostile power can be overcome when strength is supported by rightful order and divine sanction; it uses Indra’s victories as an ethical precedent for courage grounded in dharma rather than mere aggression.
Arjuna is speaking and points to Indra (Maghavā) as having defeated vast numbers of Daityas using this very chariot, emphasizing the chariot’s proven might and the scale of past victories.
