Vajra-astra deployment
mālalimamanniyogāt tvāṃ tridivaṃ prāpayiṣyati | viditastvaṃ hi devānāṃ munīnāṃ ca mahātmanām ||
The verse emphasizes that rightful outcomes (such as attaining heaven) can follow from a legitimate injunction or divine appointment, and that true worth is recognized by the highest authorities—gods and great sages—implying moral and spiritual credibility.
Arjuna addresses someone, assuring them that, by Mālalimā’s directive, they will be led to heaven, and he supports this assurance by noting the person’s established reputation among the gods and eminent sages.
