निवातकवचवधः — Arjuna’s Neutralization of the Nivātakavacas

दक्षिणस्यां दिशि यमं प्रत्यपश्यं व्यवस्थितम् । वरुणं देवराजं च यथास्थानमवस्थितम्,दक्षिण दिशाकी ओर दृष्टिपात करनेपर मुझे साक्षात् यमराज खड़े दिखायी दिये। वरुण और देवराज इन्द्र भी क्रमश: पश्चिम और पूर्व दिशामें यथास्थान खड़े हो गये
dakṣiṇasyāṃ diśi yamaṃ pratyapaśyaṃ vyavasthitam | varuṇaṃ devarājaṃ ca yathāsthānam avasthitam ||
ولما ألقيت بصري نحو جهة الجنوب رأيت يَما نفسه قائمًا هناك على أهبة الاستعداد. وكان فارونا وملك الآلهة إندرا كذلك في مواضعهم اللائقة، كلٌّ منهم ثابتٌ في الجهة التي خُصِّصت له.
