Dhaumyaḥ Kṛṣṇā ca Pārthāś ca Lomasaś ca mahān ṛṣiḥ | agacchan sahitās tatra na kaścid avahīyate ||
The verse highlights a dharmic ethic of solidarity: in arduous undertakings one should move as a united group and ensure that no companion is neglected or abandoned.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Dhaumya, Draupadī, the Pāṇḍavas, and the sage Lomasa travel onward together to the next destination, with the explicit note that none of them is left behind.
