बभज्जतुर्महावक्षानूरुभिबलिनां वरौ । अन्योन्येनाभिसंरब्धौ परस्परवधैषिणौ,बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ वे दोनों वीर अपनी जाँघोंके धक््केसे बड़े-बड़े वृक्षोंको तोड़ डालते थे और परस्पर कुपित हो एक-दूसरेको मार डालनेकी इच्छा रखते थे
babhajjatūr mahāvakṣān ūrubhir balināṁ varau | anyonyenābhisaṁrabdhau parasparavadhaiṣiṇau ||
قال فايشَمبايانا: إن هذين البطلين، وهما أسبق الأقوياء، حطّما الأشجار العظيمة بقوة أفخاذهما. وقد استبدّ الغضب بكلٍّ منهما على الآخر، فصار كلٌّ يبتغي موت خصمه—إذ غلب السخطُ كبحَ النفس، فتحوّلت القوة إلى سلاحٍ للفناء المتبادل.
