Gandhamādana-nivāsaḥ — Draupadyāḥ prārthanā, Bhīmasenārohaṇaṃ, Maṇimāna-yuddham
Chapter 157: Draupadi’s request, Bhima’s ascent, and the combat with Maniman
tato yudhiṣṭhiro rājā pratijagrāha tad vacaḥ | pratyāgamya punas taṃ tu nara-nārāyaṇāśramam ||
The verse highlights dharmic receptivity: Yudhiṣṭhira accepts guidance and chooses to remain in a sacred, disciplined environment, sustaining communal well-being and extending proper regard to accompanying brāhmaṇas—an ethical model of humility, restraint, and hospitality.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Yudhiṣṭhira accepts the instruction he has received and returns again to the Nara-Nārāyaṇa hermitage, where he lives with his brothers and Draupadī; the brāhmaṇas who came with them also stay there contentedly.
