वैशम्पायन उवाच
Affectionate service and considerate action are presented as virtues: the Pāṇḍava undertakes effort not for personal gain but to please another, showing selfless intent and respectful regard.
Vaiśampāyana informs the king that the mighty-armed Pāṇḍava has departed from that place toward the north-east specifically to fetch the flowers that were being sought, motivated by a desire to please the speaker.
