When dharma is threatened or a momentous event approaches, its impact is portrayed as cosmic: disorder spreads through all realms, reminding listeners that moral and spiritual crises are not merely private but affect the whole order of the world.
Lomaśa reports ominous signs to Indra: universal agitation, distress among all beings, and the oceans in upheaval—signals that a significant divine or world-altering development is underway.
