Approach to Śveta Mountain and Kailāsa; Lomāśa’s Warnings and Protective Instructions

इति श्रीमहाभारते वनपर्वणि तीर्थयात्रापर्वणि लोमशतीर्थयात्रायां कैलासादिगिरिप्रवेशे एकोनचत्वारिंशदधिकशततमो<ध्याय:

iti śrīmahābhārate vanaparvaṇi tīrthayātrāparvaṇi lomaśatīrthayātrāyāṃ kailāsādigiripraveśe ekonacatvāriṃśadadhikaśatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ

وهكذا، في «المهابهارتا» الشريفة، ضمن «فانا بارفا»—وخاصةً قسم «تيرثاياترا» (الحجّ إلى المراقد المقدّسة)—في رحلة الحجّ التي قادها الحكيم لوماشا، عند واقعة الدخول إلى نطاق الجبال ابتداءً من كايلاسا، تنتهي «الفصل التاسع والثلاثون بعد المئة». وهذه الخاتمة (الكولوفون) تُعلن انتقالاً في سرد الرحلة المقدّسة، وتُؤطّر المسير بوصفه ممارسةً للدارما: تطهيراً للنفس واقتراباً مهيباً من المواطن المقدّسة.
