तस्यैवं वसुसम्पूर्णा वसुधा वसुधाधिप । तेनेष्टं विविधैर्यज्ैर्बहुभि: स्वाप्तदक्षिणै:,युधिष्ठिर! इस प्रकार उनके लिये यह सारी पृथ्वी धन-रत्नोंसे परिपूर्ण थी। उन्होंने पर्याप्त दक्षिणावाले नाना प्रकारके बहुसंख्यक यज्ञोंद्वारा भगवानकी समाराधना की

tasyaivaṁ vasusampūrṇā vasudhā vasudhādhipa | teneṣṭaṁ vividhair yajñair bahubhiḥ svāptadakṣiṇaiḥ, yudhiṣṭhira |

يا يودهيشثيرا، يا سيّد الأرض، هكذا امتلأ العالم كلّه له بالثروة والكنوز. وبهذه النعمة أقام يَجْناتٍ كثيرةً شتّى الأنواع، كلّ واحدةٍ منها مزوّدة بدكشِنا (عطايا) لائقة للكهنة، فعبد الإلهيّ على الوجه القويم.
