The Birth and Career Account of Māndhātṛ
पिपासितेन या: पीता विधिमन्त्रपुरस्कृता: । आपस्त्वया महाराज मत्तपोवीर्यसम्भूता:
pipāsitena yāḥ pītā vidhimantrapuraskṛtāḥ | āpastvayā mahārāja mattapovīryasambhūtāḥ ||
قال لوماشا: «أيها الملك العظيم، إنّ المياه التي شربتَها حين اشتدّ بك الظمأ—بعد أن سُبقت على وجهها بالطقس المقرر وبالمانترا المقدّسة—هي مياه أخرجتها قوة تقشّفي (tapas). فهي ليست مياهًا عادية؛ بل نشأت من بأس الزهد والنسك، وكان ينبغي أن تُنال بخشوعٍ وضبطٍ للنفس.»
