त्रिदशांश्षाप्पबाधन्त तथा गन्धर्वराक्षसान् | सर्वाणि चैव भूतानि शूरा: समरशालिन:,समरभूमिमें शोभा पानेवाले वे शूरवीर राजकुमार देवताओं, गन्धर्वों, राक्षसों तथा सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंको कष्ट दिया करते थे
tridaśān śāpabādhanta tathā gandharvarākṣasān | sarvāṇi caiva bhūtāni śūrāḥ samarśālinaḥ ||
أولئك الأمراء الأبطال—الزاهرون في ساحة القتال—بلغت شدّتهم حدًّا أنهم كانوا يؤذون حتى الآلهة، وكذلك الغندرفا والراكشاسا؛ بل كانوا يوقعون العذاب بجميع أصناف الكائنات.
